PayPal Sucks
January 2010 Update - Account frozen for 180 days 29 January 2010 - 29 July 2010 release date
We no longer accept PayPal as a form of payment. PayPal has limited our account claiming that using it to send and receive money is “suspicious activity”
None of the other payment processors have ever asked for the kind of information that PayPal is asking for to restore account access.
There have NEVER been any customers disputes on our PayPal account. No customer has ever complained to PayPal about us. We have NEVER had any fraud associated with our account.
The only one that ever complained was PayPal…. We complained about PayPal service and this was the PayPal response. They froze the account and asked for 10 different items ranging for passport numbers, to phone bills, invoices, confidential supplier info and other confidential business information that is none of their business and has nothing to do with a financial account.
Our invoices that PayPal requested contain our customers’ emails, addresses and phone numbers which we consider confidential.
We don’t give out our customer information to anyone!
We can NOT restore our PayPal account without giving them YOUR information.
For this reason we CAN NOT accept PayPal payments anymore.
My bank and our 5 other payment processors don’t ask for that info. Even my credit card company does not have the info that PayPal has tried to force us to give them
Here is the email we received after we complained about PayPal customer service
